Abstract

The reliability and efficiency of electrical distribution systems are crucial for the seamless operation of distribution entities. This study focuses on the imperative task of ensuring the dependability of electrical systems while concurrently addressing the significant challenge of mitigating power losses within distribution networks. In tandem, a pronounced emphasis is directed toward the mitigation of power losses within the distribution network. The central aim of this study is to find out how to enhance system performance by enhancing our comprehension of prevailing methodologies utilized to elevate reliability, curtail power losses, enhance voltage profiles, and amplify power output within distribution networks. This research comprises a thorough examination of established strategies that have been employed to tackle these challenges. Through this comprehensive review, the study identifies areas of research deficiency, shedding light on gaps in current knowledge. To address these gaps and broaden the horizons of inquiry within this domain, the study proposes corresponding suggestions and recommendations. By highlighting the deficiencies and suggesting avenues for further exploration, this study aims to propel advancements in the field of electrical distribution systems, ultimately fostering increased dependability, efficiency, and overall performance in distribution networks.
